Elbow pain can be frustrating because of how often and in how many ways we use our elbows on a daily basis. The elbow is a complex joint because it allows you to both extend and flex your arm at the elbow joint, as well as rotate your hand and forearm side-to-side. Since most movements are a combination of these actions, you may sometimes find it difficult to describe exactly which movement brings on the pain.
